SRNet is a MANRS-Compliant Network – Here’s Why That Matters:
SRNet doesn’t just connect our members to the global research and education network – we protect your connection.
That’s why we’re proud to be a participant in MANRS (Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security), a global initiative that sets the gold standard for securing Internet routing infrastructure.
What is MANRS?
MANRS is a community-driven effort supported by the Internet Society, designed to dramatically improve the security and resilience of the Internet’s global routing system. It sets clear, actionable best practices that prevent common threats like:
- Route hijacking
- Traffic misdirection
- IP spoofing
- Unintentional network leaks
Participation in MANRS requires adherence to these high standards—standards that SRNet proudly meets.
What This Means for Our Members
Being a MANRS-compliant network isn’t just a technical milestone – it’s a commitment to our members’ safety, reliability, and peace of mind. Here’s how our participation makes SRNet a superior network:
Built-In Security
We actively prevent threats at the infrastructure level—before they can reach your network. That means fewer outages, fewer risks, and more peace of mind.
Reliability You Can Count On
Better routing practices mean fewer disruptions and faster issue resolution. Your connection stays stable, even when others are vulnerable.
Industry-Leading Practices
We operate with the same routing security standards as global Tier 1 providers and major cloud platforms. This isn’t just best practice – it’s leadership.
Trust You Can See
Our MANRS membership is public and transparent. We invite our members to see exactly how we’re raising the bar for Internet safety.
Why It Sets Us Apart
While many ISPs are able to connect you to the Internet, few are taking real steps to make the Internet safer and more resilient for everyone. By joining MANRS, SRNet goes beyond the basics:
- We’re not just moving traffic—we’re protecting it.
- We’re not just following trends—we’re setting them.
- We’re not just another provider—we’re building a better Internet.
Join an Internet Experience That’s Secure by Design
When you connect to SRNet, you’re choosing more than speed – you’re choosing a smarter, safer, and more responsible network.
That’s the MANRS difference.
